NATA or National aptitude test in architecture facilitated by the Council of Architecture is an important test for all architecture aspirants.
The exam score is accepted by most famous architecture colleges for students seeking enrollment.

The exam comprised of questions of Multiple Choice type (MCQ), Multiple Select type (MSQ), Preferential Choice type (PCQ), and Numerical Answer type (NAQ) and Match the following type (MFQ).
The total time to answer the questions is 180 minutes and the medium of questions is English. Some questions could be in regional language too.
The questions consist of topics such as:
Diagrammatic Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning problems, Verbal Reasoning, Inductive Reasoning, Situational Judgment, Logical Reasoning sequences, Abstract Reasoning.
Questions might also come from mathematics, physics and geometry, language and interpretation, elements and principles of design, aesthetic sensitivity, color theory, lateral thinking and logical reasoning, visual perception and cognition, graphics and imagery, building anatomy and architectural vocabulary, basic techniques of building construction and knowledge of the material, general knowledge, and current affairs, and so on.
Generally, NATA also has drawing-related questions as well, which test your creativity, conceptualization, proportionality, perspective, understanding of scale, geometrical and abstract pattern drawing, creating 2d 3d compositions based on shapes or forms, and sketching urban scape and landscape, etc.
NATA 2022 omitted the drawing section. However, with NATA one never knows when they decide to change the pattern and add the drawing section back. Hence, it is better to practice beforehand than to be unprepared.
This pattern of examination was followed for NATA 2022.
