The best placement is a combination of the brand, the profile you are being placed into as well as the salary package. For example, the average salary package for a product design is around 4L.P.a(Approx), while an industrial designer will get an average package of about 6 L.P.a(Approx.) 
Therefore, according to the stats available in the Times of India, 2015, the highest package offered was around 72Lakhs. Therefore, it can be assumed that the NID placements are quite good.
Now, we must now here that the NID placements are central for three campuses: Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Bangaluru.
